The Director of Operations manages and coordinates the company s manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and facilities functions, as well as ensures compliance with and coordination of LEAN initiatives.This position is responsible for collaborating with the leadership team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems and processes designed to accommodate the growth of the company.Director of Operations Responsibilities Provide day-to-day leadership and management of approximately 50 subordinates, ensuring teams are staffed with appropriate personnelImplement and manage necessary forecasting, ERP, Shop floor systems, and Dynamic Flow Technology (DFT) to support year-over-year program growthEnhance the Quality Management System to ensure that products, processes, and services consistently meet or exceed the desired quality standards, including compliance to ISO 9001 and 14001Create and manage annual budget for Operations to support manufacturing... growthRepresent the company with clients, investors, and business partnersAccountability for all aspects of personnel performance management for manufacturing and operations team including coaching, development, training, and disciplinePromotes and supports a continuous improvement culture with activities including LEAN techniques with respective improvements to production flows to ensure constant development of processes and peopleResponsible for facility-related issues including communications with building management, maintaining employee access badges, managing office space for new hires, and safetyDesign, propose, and implement manufacturing strategies, guidelines, and procedures within broad principles and policies set by the organization to ensure product ships on time at the right quality and costDesign and implement supply chain strategies that support the success of the manufacturing operationsDirector of Operations QualificationsB.S.Degree in business or technical major.Advanced degree preferredMinimum of 15 years in function and 10 years in the industry sectorDeep knowledge of high technology manufacturing of systems and best practicesProven track record of implementing and managing production linesDemand Flow Technology (DFT) experience preferredExperience leading with Lean Manufacturing techniques and toolsExperience running a large organization (e.g., 50+ employees)Knowledge of applicable regulatory and compliance requirementsStrong data analysis skills and proficiency in the use of statistical tools in problem-solvingApproximate 25% travelDirector of Operations BenefitsSalary Range: $160k - $180k, plus 20% bonus opportunityHealth, Dental, and Vision Insurance401k matchPTO
