The Nursing Center Administrator provides overall leadership for the services of the skilled nursing community. Responsibilities include providing oversight, coaching, and management of the operations team to achieve facility objectives, both programmatic and fiscal. As the leader of the facility leadership team, the Administrator serves as a role model of professionalism, expertise, and service. Must have experience in senior living communities (60-80 beds) with a team over 100.

Skilled Nursing Center Administrator Responsibilities:

  • Provides facility leadership in planning, budget, and program development
  • Participates as part of the Senior Living leadership team
  • Develop program, financial, and clinical strategic and operational goals
  • Monitor and provide leadership in understanding and meeting compliance requirements with current regulations and health care policies
  • Establish and implement annual goals with the Operations Team
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships
  • Prepare, submit, and administer annual budgets, reports, and records

Skilled Nursing Center Administrator Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university recognized
  • Must have current state LNHA Certification
  • 2 - 3 years' experience working as an LNHA in a long-term care facility
  • Proven success with regulatory survey process and a working knowledge of by the United States Department of Education or equivalent
  • Commitment to Servant Leadership
  • Ability to mentor and counsel nursing team
  • Empathy with ill, disabled, elderly, and emotionally upset and hostile people
