Job Description

Location: Alexandria, VA and Falls Church, VA

Schedule: Scheduled hours will be between 7am and 7pm and one weekend a month.

Pay: $18 an hour

About the Position

As a Home Care Companion, you will provide Goodwin Living residents with non-medical companion care in their residence at Goodwin Living or in the community. You will assist residents to maximize their independence and reach their fullest potential in their personal residence.

Job Description

Assisting with light housekeeping to include: making beds, washing dishes, watering plants, dusting empty trash, light vacuuming.
Accompanying resident to and from appointments, such as, beauty shop, doctor visit, or special functions.
Assist with and/or prepare and serve meals and snacks as needed.

Job Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
Good communication skills and computer proficiency.
