Job Description
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
The Store Lead Merchandise Processor assists the Store Management Team with the essential support in overall operations, excellent customer service and sales floor functions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Ensure that quality customer service is presented and provided by employees in a timely and courteous manner to all customers, donors and other employees.
- Direct daily work with Store Merchandise Processor's in attaching price tags to clothing and wares and cleaning wares, to meet preset production and sales goals for the store.
- Ability to assist and have flexibility in the overall daily operations within the store.
- Responsible for accepting donations brought to store and providing receipts.
- Communicate with the Store Management Team the needs from the D.C. to ensure production and sales goals will be met.
- Follow all policies in the Production Manual.
- Collect all found monies and donated jewelry daily. Monies must be turned into the manager with the name of employee. The jewelry is sent back to e-collectibles with appropriate paperwork filled out and email appropriate individuals.
- Any other assignments designated by Store Management Team.
- Ensure that store and surrounding premises are kept clean and free of safety hazards, and that safety procedures are understood and followed by all store employees.
- Ensure compliance with all GWSN policies provided in the Team Member Goodwill Guidebook, GII standards, and safety and security regulations.
- Adhere to all GWSN Retail Manuals, handbooks, policies and procedures.
- Crosstrain and be proficient in every production department in order to train new processors and fill in when necessary.
- Ensure Processors and work stations are stocked with approved supplies.
- Assist management staff with QQP (Quality-Quantity-Price) checks.
- Ensure all Processors complete Floor Work each day for one hour. Complete Floor Work audits daily to ensure Floor Work processes are followed to company standards.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Minimum of 1-2 years of supervisory retail experience.
- Must possess strong interpersonal skills through command of the English language in order to work with customers and employees.
- Must exhibit a high level of integrity and business ethics.
- Requires a high level of adaptability and flexibility.
- No record or disclosure of criminal conviction within 7 years from date of application that indicates a tendency towards theft, violence, dishonesty, deceit, drug manufacture or sale, moral turpitude, or predatory behavior.
- Must provide proof of identification and eligibility to work in the United States of America.
- Must meet qualitative and quantitative performance standards as established by the company.
- Must be fluent in English; bilingual a plus.
