POSITION PURPOSE: The Ecommerce Listing Specialist is responsible for listing donated products for sale online. The Ecommerce Listing Specialist position requires the ability to thoroughly detail the traits of each to represent the correct condition, manufacturer and other and list it in the online marketplace.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
Thoroughly examine each item to determine the correct condition and other pertinent information needed for listings
Group relevant items as warranted to maximize value of the sale
Review against information given (as applicable) for listing
List average of 30-40 items for sale each day on appropriate software platform
Identify rare, collectible and/or unique items to sell from groupings given to maximize the overall average selling price
Ability to use accurate and relevant key words for attracting searches i.e. brand, item style, colors and condition of products listed
Follow safety policies and procedures ensuring maximum safety, security, and protection of all customers and company assets
Maintain clean, organized work and storage areas
Ensure maximum customer satisfaction. Work cooperatively with all consumers, and co-workers to promote the achievement of the company mission
Meet all production goals set by Ecommerce Manager
Photograph items to be posted with a digital camera and download photos to the computer, resizing and saving photos to the hard drive, 6 pictures per item or necessary amount to depict accurately to online bidders
Upload photos to shopgoodwill.com web site and write concise and accurate descriptions necessary for listing
List all items accurately, comprehensively, with no typos or spelling errors
Proofread all item descriptions for clarity, spelling and grammar
Perform proper testing for all jewelry identified with possible value, gems or precious metals as needed
Follow all posting and storage procedures
High school diploma or GED equivalent, along with a minimum of 1-3 months related experience and/or training. Knowledge of Ecommerce sales i.e. Google, Ebay and Amazon highly preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office products required. Strong organizational skills a must. Must have a valid driver’s license. Must be able to travel 20% of the time.
