GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

The Talent Acquisition Partner will be the primary contact for external and internal job applicants. This position will work to attract, screen and onboard new team members. They will also work to attract qualified talent to Goodwill by developing a recruiting strategy for the organization. They will ensure a successful transition from candidate to team member by facilitating a welcoming on-boarding experience for the candidate. This position will also be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day duties of the HR office including but not limited to processing new hires and separations, timekeeping, and file maintenance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Ensure friendly and accurate on-boarding of new team members.

2. Work to reduce turnaround time between posting to on-boarding.

3. Coordinate the selection process in the organization.

4. Submits and reviews background checks including drivers license checks.

5. Researches, organizes, documents and completes special projects, as assigned.

6. Displays a high level of effort and commitment to performing work; operates effectively within the organizational structure; demonstrates trustworthiness and responsible behavior.

7. Assist with general HR duties.

8. Personal ongoing development.

9. Willingness and ability to travel to Goodwill locations throughout the State of Arkansas to train and development store managers in recruiting methods.

10. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Broad knowledge of such fields as accounting, marketing, business administration, finance, etc. Equivalent to a four year college degree, plus 2 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and policy/procedure manuals; Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Arkansas Driver's License with a clean Motor Vehicle Record.

SOFTWARE SKILLS REQUIRED

Intermediate: Contact Management, Human Resources Systems, Presentation/PowerPoint, Spreadsheet, Word Processing/Typing

Basic: 10-Key, Accounting, Alphanumeric Data Entry, Payroll Systems

PUBLIC CONTACT

Frequent contacts with general public, patrons, or other outside representatives, wherein the manner of handling these contacts has a bearing on the organization's position and operation.

EMPLOYEE CONTACT

Contacts of considerable importance within the department or office, such as those required in coordination of effort, or frequent contacts with other departments or offices, generally in normal course of performing duties. Requires tact in discussing problems and presenting data and making recommendations, but responsibility for action and decision reverts to others.
