Responsibilities:

• Guide clients through our service offerings and help them choose the types of massages that would benefit them most
• Take detailed histories from clients, including information about any injuries or conditions, such as diabetes
• Administer therapy treatments to patients using hands or physical treatment aids
• Perform Swedish massages, deep tissue massages, reflexology, cupping, etc.
• Massage and knead muscles and soft tissues of the body to provide treatment for medical conditions, injuries, or wellness maintenance
• Design sessions around clients' specific complaints or problem areas
• Listen to clients during massages and adjust techniques to meet their needs
• Suggest massage schedules for recurring sessions

Requirements:

• North Carolina massage therapy license required
• 1+ year(s) of customer service experience required
• 1+ year(s) of performing Swedish, deep tissue, reflexology, and cupping preferred
• 1+ year(s) of experience working in a spa or therapy center environment is a plus
• Must display physical strength and dexterity
• Excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills
• Demonstrate exceptional active listening skills in order to understand what clients want to achieve through sessions

The Day Spa at the Goldsboro Spine Center is currently seeking talented day spa therapists. Our day spa is growing and we cannot meet the demand.
