Remote 1-3 days per week.

The Project Manager is a full-time Program Management Office (PMO) role responsible for management of specific projects and supporting the operational activities of the Program Management Office (PMO). The PM is responsible for the overall delivery and performance of services defined in the scope of work for their defined contracts. The PM will be expected to work within the GKG PMO's existing project management processes and practices.


  • Effective Planning and Scheduling.
  • Budget Management
  • Basics of Hiring and Staff Management.
  • Risk, Issue and Opportunity Management.
  • Fundamentals of Contracts Management.
  • Stakeholder Analysis and Communication Planning.
  • Customer Relationship Management.
  • Conducting Performance Management and Process Improvement Activities.
  • Generation of status reports, invoice approval and basic contract administration.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • 2-3 years of experience managing projects as the accountable project manager.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Eligible to obtain Public Trust Federal security clearance based on Agency requirements.
  • Exemplary organization skills necessary to effectively manage and execute diverse and concurrent projects, objectives and tasks.
  • Exemplary communications skills.
  • Aptitude to rapidly assimilate new information and adopt new applications and technologies.
  • Proficient with MS Office, Outlook, and SharePoint tools.
  • Comprehension of and conversant in both agile and waterfall project management practices.
  • Demonstrated dedication to continual learning.


Relevant Professional Certification(s) such as Project Management Professional (PMP) Certified Agile Practitioner (ACP), etc. or ability to acquire within 1 year of hire.
