GoKeyless is hiring an experienced Government Contract Specialist to join our ever growing team. This position provides the opportunity for significant client interaction by learning the client’s business better than they know it and to become a trusted advisor. Ideal candidates will demonstrate versatility in understanding and performing work related to Federal, State and Local Government, and Education Contract Management. This will include pre-award and post-award acquisition and contract management support.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides support for pre-award and post-award contract actions, and the full range of contract administration support to procure and administer contracts.
Support proposal preparation. Provide counsel on teaming strategies and subcontracting risks, including assisting with the development of mitigation strategies for proposal submittals.
Complete company representations and certifications, supplier questionnaires, online registrations and compliance reporting (i.e. Diversity, Subcontract compliance, Service Contract Act, etc.)
Process bid, payment and performance bonds; and certificates of insurance.
Work with Account Managers, Inside Sales Representatives and various business operation functions and departments to ensure compliance and mitigate contractual and financial risks.
Maintain contract files for each contract awarded in approved company contract database and repositories in accordance with established contract administration processes, document management, and retention policies.
Track contract status, modifications, deliverables, reporting, and contract closeout documentation in accordance with company policies, contract terms and conditions.
Minimum of 2-3years’ experience with a government contractor managing Federal, state or local contracts. Bachelor degree in Business, Finance, Contract Management or a related field. Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations, DFARS, state and local procurement laws and regulations required. Experience managing GSA Schedules desirable.
Excellent analytical skills, effective written, oral communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to identify issues and problems and make independent recommendations to direct supervisor(s), program staff, and business unit management.
Proficient in the use of MS Office, Intermediate level Excel and PowerPoint. SharePoint or database management and analysis required.
