Telecom Construction Manager

At least 5 years TELECOM CONSTRUCTION experience required. Coordinate and manage vendors performing QC/QA Inspections, Final Punch and site acceptance walks. Work with vendors to coordinate BOM's, NTP's, equipment/materials shipments and shortfalls, operational troubleshooting.

Description and Deliverables
(Supplier’s Construction Manager)
1. Construction Manager will partner with DAS & Venue task force to complete pre-application scoping.
2. Includes a pre-Application site walk, per site, performed by construction manager to gather a specific data & photo set to verify on-site tower and civil equipment types and quantities.
3. Construction Manager will present pre-App information by attending a scoping meeting with the DAS & Venue task force team.
4. Final Deliverable: Completed Pre-App Scoping Package to be uploaded immediately to element database.
1. Construction Manager will partner with the DAS & Venue Project Manager & review and approve the preliminary landlord application to ensure the application matches the pre and post equipment identified in the RFDS.
2. DAS & Venue Project Manager will be responsible for direct landlord communication.
1. Deliverables Referenced to Below Description: Structural Analysis, Mod/Upgrade Analysis & Design, Mount Analysis, & Construction Drawings.
2. Construction Manager will receive draft deliverables from the DAS & Venue Project Manager, ensure the verify the deliverables match application and RFDS, redline any design changes needed for quality, technicality, and/or safety, and provide approval and feedback to DAS & Venue PM.
3. DAS & Venue PM will later receive finalized versions of deliverables and send to construction manager for second approval.
4. Construction manager will repeat review process if additional corrections are necessary, or if deliverables are approved and in a final status as-is, immediately upload deliverables to Element database.
1. Construction Manager will be responsible for the completion of the Project & any day-to-day communication & remote, or on site, management of field resources supporting the completion of the Project.
2. Construction Manager will be the Subject Matter Expert on the site’s scope of work and understand, in full, the expectations of the field resource required to complete Project.
3. Construction Manager will identify in advance any potential and foreseeable change-order and inform TPM immediately of said risk and will never give approval for a change-order without the written approval from the T-Mobile TPM.
4. Construction Manager will immediately escalate any risks to timely project delivery, or any other notable issues, directly to the TPM.
5. Construction Manager will frequently engage with site landlords or representatives and will represent T-Mobile with professionalism.
1. Construction Manager will frequently be responsible for solo or cooperative site walks for crew monitoring, information gathering, quality assurance, punch walks, and other Project requirements.
2. During Pre-App, Pre-Con, Telco, and Power site walks, the pre-determined site walk package information must be captured & documented. Upon completion, the site walk package must be immediately uploaded to element.
3. Site check in and check out procedures must be followed, specifically, but not limited to, T-Mobile and Landlord site activity requirements.
1. Construction Manager will be responsible for auditing and packaging a site’s Construction NTP Package.
2. The Construction Manager will verify all checklist items located in element database, all documents match the RFDS, and complete the NTP Checklist.
1. Construction Manager will be responsible for supporting the Project Manager in communication, tracking, scoping, and delivering utilities and telco for Projects.
2. Construction Manager will be responsible for the civil crew management completing the SOW necessary for utility & telco delivery.

1. Construction Manager will be responsible for material tracking and release to the contractor. This includes, but is not limited to, tracking BOMs through the stages of delivery from draft created in the BAT tool to scheduled release and pick-up of material by the contractor via Tellworks AIMs tool.

The construction manager will also be responsible for utilizing the CHAT system to provide the contractor with any additional materials or replacement parts necessary to complete the SOW. - - Construction Manager will be trained on, and expected to be, an expert on T-Mobile BOM creation and delivery processes.

Construction Manager will be responsible for creating the Project BOM in the BAT tool utilizing existing scoping documents and expert-level knowledge of construction standards and practices. - - 2. Construction Manager will partner with local TPM and regional T-Mobile SME to ensure one BOM is submitted per Project with 100% accuracy.
1. Construction Manager will be responsible for completing a review of the GC’s performance, per site, by completing the GC Score Card after construction is completed.
1. Construction Manager will be responsible for attending quality training and graduating from our Lab Training Facility in Frisco, TX.
2. The construction manager will be an expert on the close-out package requirements and manage, end-to-end, the timely receipt of the COP after construction is completed, reviewing and creating punch lists, tracking and follow-up for any punch items, and uploading a 100% completed COP to element.
3. The construction manager will actualize Close-Out Package Approved in element.
4. The construction manager will be on site with the GC on their first and last day of SOW construction services, at a minimum.
