Our client, a real estate construction firm located near Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn is seeking to hire an Administrative Assistant who will help with general office support! Must have a good attitude, strong work ethic, and be highly organized/team oriented! Position: Administrative Assistant Company: Real Estate Construction Management Location: Brooklyn NY (near Carroll Gardens)
Hours: 7am to 4pm with one hour lunch break Salary: 35K + Benefits
-Performed general office duties, copying, faxing, mailing, filing, scanning and working a switch board
-Collecting progress photos from the field and posting to the server and web based software -Collected invoice & packing slip which need to be logged in, distributed, scanned to server & collected back for payment.
-Con Ed- Setting up, transferring ownership, approving for payment
-Assist in collecting safety info, compliance paperwork and maintaining logs
-Order supplies and equipment
-Reception coverage during lunch breaks and vacation coverage
-Willingness to learn
-6 months to 2 years of administrative experience
-Ability to successfully multi-task while working independently or in coordination with other administrative or management professionals.
-Understand maintain confidentiality of all information
-Ability to effectively utilize multi-line telephone system
-Able to work collectively with the administrative team associates.
-Strong "people skills" - ability to effectively interact with various levels throughout the organization
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
