Position Summary :

Toyota's Final Assembly Production Engineering Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Assembly Engineer. The primary responsibility of this role is to support in development and implementation of new model preparation at NAMC sites.
Reporting to the Assembly Engineering Manager, the person in this role will support the Production Engineering Assembly department's objective to study vehicle changes & execute future model activities across NAMCs.

Position Responsibilities :

• Project Planning for upcoming model changes.
• Simultaneous Engineering for assembly of vehicle with TMC & TTC
• Project Management over process setup & equipment procurement at sites.
• Close collaboration between both internal and external groups across Toyota including NAMCs, TMC, TTC, PE support shops, & Plano divisions.
• Build relationships with TMMI Assembly PE, Maintenance, and Pilot groups for strong customer feedback and inclusion in new equipment and processes.

Position Requirements :

• 3+ years' experience in manufacturing engineering.
• Proficient in AutoCAD 2012 or above, Catia / Terrace 3D, MS office (Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook, PPT).
• Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent on job experience is preferred.
• Strong desire to work in a manufacturing hands on environment to develop process and equipment concepts and manage multiple projects at one time with a high focus on Safety, Quality, and Cost
• Able to work independently
• Regular Business Hours and Must be Onsite (needs to be flexible to project needs for overtime hours and weekends)
• No travel in the beginning but Long Term would be travel up to 30% for Vendor Visits and Equipment (could travel 1-2 weeks at a time)
