Position Summary:

The ideal candidate for this role understands project management philosophies and best practices while being able to translate business needs into useable requirements and user stories.  If you can jump into a variety of technical project management roles (i.e., Scrum Master, Project Manager, Business Analyst), you will become an invaluable resource for the Toyota OneTech Digital Corporate Experiences team as we partner with our customers and enable them to achieve the business objectives by working with development teams, architects, and technical subject matter experts to scope, implement, and modernize technical solutions to accelerate the mobility transformation journey.

This role is responsible for understanding business needs and translating those needs into actionable items to be executed by the OneTech delivery teams.   You will collaborate with business users to capture, document, and confirm business requirements.   Furthermore, you will be able to reconcile business requirements with OneTech standards and provide clear and concise direction to the development teams on behalf of the business.  This individual will interface mainly with the Toyota Diversity and Inclusion organization and specifically support the Toyota Social Innovation and Diversity and Inclusion teams as a Toyota OneTech representative.   The resource will also interface with our business partners for gathering / documenting business requirements and other related documentation.  They will need to manage the effort needed to complete tasks while keeping OneTech management up to date on project status, impediments, and deliverables. 

Position Responsibilities and Experience:

• Adhere to Toyota technical standards and tools.
• Integrate the use of Toyota project development lifecycle using Agile and waterfall methodologies when appropriate.
• Collaborate on determining deliverable completion dates.
• Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with multiple stakeholders.
• Document business requirements, business processes, use cases and other relevant documents like user stories, test scenarios/cases, etc.
• Present requirements to multiple stakeholders who include business and OneTech.
• Managing project deliverables in line with the project timeline.
• Provide project status updates including issue/risk escalation to OneTech and Business leadership.
• Collaborate on assignment of appropriate team resources.
• Disseminate communications as needed among fellow project team members.

 Deliverables:

• Business Process Model, AS-IS & TO-BE
• Business Requirements Documents, including requirements traceability matrix
• Other relevant resources and documents like: JIRA backlogs, user stories, test scenarios, test plan, test cases
• Business Program guidelines
• End-user training and training materials

Position Requirements:

• BS or BA degree in computer science, business administration, or related business/technical field or equivalent experience is required.
• 3-5 years of business analysis experience.
• 3-5 years of technical project management expertise.
• Analytical and organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Office Suite, MS project, and Visio.
