Job Description

Global Science & Technology, Inc (GST), a growing scientific and high technology company, is seeking a Policy/Management Program Coordination Consultant Support to support the Business Operations Support (BOS) Task Order for the International & Interagency Affairs (IIA) Division.

This position is located in Silver Spring, MD but is temporarily approved for telework due to Covid-19. A hybrid model of onsite and telework each week will likely be put in place in the coming months.

Position Summary:

Global Science & Technology, Inc., a fast-growing firm, is seeking an experienced Policy/Management Program Coordination Consultant with exceptional organizational skills to support client international and interagency policy initiatives, internal government standards (policy/procedures), communication/documentation, agency representation in support of the Business Operations Support (BOS) Task Order for the International & Interagency Affairs (IIA) Division.

Primary Duties:

  • Works directly with senior government clients and closely with BOS support contractors as well as other support contractors.
  • Support client initiatives and assist with developing and executing recommendations and communication plans.
  • Will lead & assist international and interagency working groups and facilitate discussions on strategic goals, activities, and related tasks, to include internal government standards, standard operation procedures, business operation plans, policies, and procedures.
  • Will support conference coordination, implementation, and reporting.
  • Will write detailed, professional reports/briefings and present them to the IIA client as well as other senior managers.
  • Ability to think strategically, analytically, and proactively about diverse business internal/external solutions both domestically and internationally.
  • Gather and maintain accurate data for reporting and analysis, and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with executive management, peers, employees, clients, other domestic and international agencies, and the public.

Required Education/Experience/Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field with a minimum of 10 years of experience. Years of experience/skill in lieu of education can be used to qualify.
  • Experience in developing and implementing employee surveys.
  • Experience in facilitating presentations and/or working groups in a client-facing environment, as well as experience in making appropriate research.
  • Will make recommendations for business improvements.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel), and other Work Force applications applicable to the IIA mission, e.g., SmartSheets, etc.
  • Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized in a highly visible, and fast paced environment.
