Personnel Security Specialist III

Global Resource Solutions, Inc. (GRS) is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, detail orientated, and talented individual for the position of Security Specialist III.


Job Description:


Summary: The Security Specialist III will provide support to the NGA SI Personnel Security (SISP) Division by providing a full range of personnel security services to ensure a trusted workforce for the protection of National Security. The successful candidate must have previous experience with Personnel Security performance metrics, strong Excel skills, and a working knowledge of DNI policies regarding Personnel Security performance measures.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

•Provide positive, well-communicated response and closure of all customer inquiries.
•Direct all incoming documentation to the appropriate person or database within 24 hours of receipt.
•Deliver priority messages based on urgency.
•Capture details of all actions in shared log or within the appropriate PeopleSoft security modules.
•Return all phone messages within 2 hours of receipt.
•Coordinate customer support activities across all Personnel Security Branches as customer inquiries are received to deliver the applicable answers.
•Create and deliver reports and applicable procedure updates on or before the suspense date and with 100% accuracy when requested by clients.
•Staff the Customer Support Center during the hours of 0700-1630 local time.


Requirement:
•Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
•Three (3) to six (6) years of experience, including two plus (2+) years within DOD/IC
•Must obtain DoD Security Professional Education Development (SPeD) Certification IAW DoD Manual #3305.13M within 1 year of service start date

Security Requirements:
•TS/SCI


Skills:
•Requires the ability to analyze complex data and make appropriate program recommendations. Ability to interact with all levels of personnel internal and external.
•Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
•Must have strong organizational skills
•Must be able to understand tasks & objectives
•Must have hands-on familiarity with Federal Intelligence databases including JPAS and Scattered Castles
•Demonstrated ability to work and interact professionally and effectively with all levels of staff
•Demonstrated ability to meet established deadlines and work professionally as a team player
•Demonstrated ability to conduct electronic and non-electronic finger printing and capturing activities
•Demonstrated ability to follow guidance and conduct thorough file reviews
•Demonstrated ability to provide a diverse range of administrative support functions such as updating and maintaining personnel security records
•Demonstrated ability to perform detailed work consistently accurately and under pressure

Physical Requirements: This position requires employees to be willing and able to: sit, bend, reach, stoop, squat, stand, and walk.


Communication: Excellent customer service via phone and face to face conversation, excellent written and oral command of English.
