Data Technician/Transfer Agent

Global Resource Solutions, Inc. (GRS) is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and talented individual for the position of Data Technician/Transfer Agent.

Job Description:

Summary: The Data Technician/Transfer Agent will manage the end-to-end developmental and operational test requirements for all software and hardware changes for multiple systems.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage and run various programs: CMPD, DACS, packet viewer, and TMATS.
• Set-up/takedown of multiple standalone MDDS.
• Work with various types of aircraft and support equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair basic IT issues.
• Control the distribution of various levels of classified data between aircraft and servers.
• Avionic background working with Air Force avionic media systems.
• Practical experience maintaining inventories with varying classification levels for equipment and media.
• Work with various platforms with various media types.
• Handle controlled media and maintain proper documentation.

Requirement:

• A minimum of 2 years of practical hands-on experience

Required Skills:

• Proficient in the following programs: CMPD, DACS, packet viewer, and TMATS.
• Proficient in the set-up/takedown of multiple standalone MDDS.
• Working knowledge of aircraft and support equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair of basic IT issues.
• Proficient in handling and dissemination of various levels of classified data between aircraft and servers

Security Requirements:

• Top Secret/SCI
• Willing to submit for a CI Polygraph

Skills:

• A valid/current DoD 8570.01-M IAT-II certification.
• Avionic background working with Air Force avionic media systems.
• Practical experience maintaining inventories with varying classification levels for equipment and media.
• Understanding of what platforms require what media type.
• Practical understanding of MDDS and server data transfer to protect classified material.
• Strong understanding of for aircraft type and media type required for each mission type.
• Strong understanding of controlled media handling and documentation.

Physical Requirements: This position requires employees to be willing and able to: sit, bend, reach, stoop, squat, stand, and walk.

Communication: Excellent customer service via phone and face to face conversation, excellent written and oral command of English.
