Job Description

Glendora Employment Agency, Inc. is a boutique staffing firm located in the foothills of the San Gabriel Valley. Glendora Employment Agency, Inc. specializes in bringing local job seekers together with local employers. We are currently seeking an Office Manager for a metal fabricator in Azusa.

 

Job Description:

Duties for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Monitors and assigns work to other Customer Service Representatives, while performing all the tasks of a Customer Service Manager

·         Receives customer requests for proof of deliveries, pricing, quotes, product information, and status requests via telephone, mail, email and fax

·         Analyzes incoming purchase orders to ensure proper information has been given pertaining to pricing, quantities, part numbers, descriptions, and shipping information

·         Working closely with the Production Manager and Shipping Manager to ensure that scheduled ship dates are met

·         Prepares all orders for invoicing and files all existing and completed orders numerous times daily

·         Achieves and maintains rapport with freight company representatives to ensure the best rates are given

·         Resolves customer issues regarding any discrepancies relating to orders, and issuing credits or re-invoicing as required

·         Work with Credit Department in obtaining and setting up new customers

·         Performs clerical functions, create letters and memos, post and distribute them

·         Enters accounts payable invoices, prints invoices, deposit checks, and enter cash receipts

·         Handles all A/R and A/P phone calls

·         Responsible for the maintenance and reconciliation of bank accounts

·         Performs other related duties as assigned

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Ideal candidates should possess the following skills/qualifications demonstrated through previous work experience:

·         High school diploma required

·         3 years’ experience in Administrative/ Inside Sales

·         Strong organization skills

·         Ability to effectively communicate through phone, e-mail and in person

·         Basic computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

·         Punctual, reliable, adaptable, and trustworthy

·         Strong attention to detail and accuracy

·         Ability to work well with others

 

Position: Temp-to-Hire

Shift: Monday – Friday from 7:00am – 4:00pm

Salary: $23 - $28/hour (DOE)
