In addition to the key duties listed below, the successful candidate will truly act as the “right hand person” to the CEO and Founder.

Ideally, we are looking for a candidate with some experience as a junior investment advisor or registered dealing representative, or part of an investment advisory team performing various supporting tasks relating to client onboarding and ongoing reporting. 

The position will interest a candidate who is looking for a smaller team environment affording a dynamic opportunity to learn and execute the daily tasks required to successfully service clients (investors).

This role will be ideal for a candidate whose future long-term career may be along one of the following paths:

  1. Holistic client service covering financial planning, tax planning, estate planning, insurance planning, investment management; and coordination of all the above for client families.
  2. Marketing strategy and planning, including advertising, social media, branding, events, etc.
  3. Operations leadership, including day-to-day management of the business, including relationships with and management of custodians (and custodian systems), portfolio management system, account administration (opening, closing, money movement, etc.)
  4. Systems and technology leadership – implementing and adapting systems to provide the best client experience (for both external clients and internal team members).

Responsibilities may include:

  • Main "day to day" liaison between the firm and its clients
  • Proactively identifying client needs and offering appropriate solutions
  • Preparing account related forms to assist our client onboarding and management activity
  • Managing client documentation and files to ensure documents are up to date and that there are no document deficiencies
  • Managing the relationship and working collaboratively with the firm's custodian and other key external partners
  • Preparing meeting packages for prospects or existing clients
  • Performing tasks relating to various compliance obligations with respect to client service (AML screening, tax reporting, KYC annual updates, etc.)
  • Maintaining up to date knowledge on the industry (e.g., securities regulation and anti-money laundering) and company policies, products, and procedures
  • Assisting in the creation of marketing materials, and managing the company's website and social media activity
  • Editing and promoting “The Unlimited Podcast by Ginsler Wealth” – Descript experience an asset
  • Preparing meeting packages for prospects or existing clients
  • Participating in special projects and assignments
  • Demonstrating a strong code of ethics while adhering to and protecting client privacy 


  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • An undergraduate degree from a reputable University
  • Preferably 3+ years of professional work experience in a related role
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment
  • High level of professionalism
  • Proficiency with MSOffice (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency with CRM and other systems
  • Superior interpersonal skills with both clients and colleagues
  • Great organizational skills and a dependable nature
  • The ability to handle confidential information
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, work within time constraints and follow-up
  • Aptitude with numbers and exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Experience with graphic design, podcast production and editing, or other related multimedia skills
  • Marketing and communication experience within a corporate environment
  • Familiarity with the Canadian regulatory environment in connection with investment accounts (accredited investor, permitted clients, various account types – individual, joint, corporate, registered accounts, IPP, ITFs, etc.)
  • The ability to be registered as an Associate Portfolio Manager with the OSC (successful completion of Level 1 of the CFA program or pursuing the CIM designation) and/or a Dealing Representative with the OSC (successful completion of the CSC and other proficiency requirements).
