Manager, Cloud Security & Support - Position located in Rochester Hills, MI

The Manager, Cloud IT Administrator & Support will lead all infrastructure, security modernization, Azure cloud administration, and L1/L2 support, supported by a network of partners to handle projects that are too big for us to tackle on our own. The ideal candidate would be able to spend up to 8 hours per week in the Rochester Hills, MI office on a flexible schedule. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the administration, security, and maintenance of all Azure cloud services and desktop technology standards in a hybrid Windows/MacOS/iOS environment, including network security, systems security, endpoint security, and user account security.
• Manage the selection, performance, and delivery of services across a network of IT vendors to deliver top-quality service to employees and our customers. Coordinate cloud/security transformation projects across vendor partners to continuously improve services and security across the enterprise.
• Lead delivery of all Microsoft 365 services including Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Defender, SharePoint, Teams, Endpoint Management (Intune) and related services such as backups, MFA, and other integrated services.
• Design and implement network security, perform server and security audits, system backup and recovery vendors, and other recovery processes in accordance with the disaster recovery and business continuity requirements. Management of virtual environments and containerized environments hosted on Azure and on-prem VMware.

• Manage the provisioning, onboarding, and offboarding process, which may entail working in the office from time-to-time as necessary to manage hardware inventory and work with executive staff. Opportunity exists for light travel to other offices around the country for hands-on installation and maintenance of network equipment.
• Provide infrastructure services and administration in the areas of storage, networking, directory services, login scripts, group policies, DNS, and DHCP.
• Work with C-Suite and executive team members, decision-makers, and stakeholders to define business requirements and systems goals and identify and resolve business systems issues.
• Supported by senior leaders, this role will maintain the IT budget and vendor compliance to ensure top-quality IT services to 200+ employees.
• Implement security and privacy controls at all layers, coordinating vulnerability assessments and applying cyber-security best practices for sensitive data protection to maintain compliance with industry standards.

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in engineering, information technology, computer science or a related field of study, or equivalent work experience is required.
• 5+ Years in IT administration with a networking or security focus in cloud/hybrid environments is required
• Must have demonstrated experience with Azure cloud infrastructure, Azure administration, and cloud security. Experience with monitoring, SIEM, logging, virtual networking, policies, and Infrastructure as Code to automate deployment using DevOps technologies such as PowerShell, Jenkins, Puppet, Chef, or Terraform is beneficial for this role.
• Azure, AWS, or network/security certifications would be beneficial for this role, even if you are in the middle of achieving the certification.

• Demonstrated ability to document and communicate thoroughly, effectively, and proactively, in writing and verbally, to people at all levels of the organization. This position will work collaboratively with C-Suite to the front-line employees across the organization, so patience, professionalism, and discipline are required for this role.
• Knowledge of security standards HIPAA, ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST is strongly preferred.
