Administrative Coordinator

Gessner Engineering is seeking a motivated individual to assist the Gessner Engineering corporate team with specialized recruiting, marketing, and branding initiatives. The Administrative Coordinator will assist the Human Resources team with recruiting, orientation, benefits administration, brand development, and other HR support functions, gaining valuable industry experience in a professional environment. Further, the Administrative Coordinator will support the Marketing and Executive team in content development for internal and external brand management.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Assist the HR department with recruiting efforts, scheduling interviews, and coordinating meetings and events.
• Update company databases by entering new employee contact information, details, and more.
• Update job postings and advertisements on job boards and social media platforms for various job titles and types.
• Remove expired job listings.
• Design, prepare, and send offer and rejection letters, emails, and messages to candidates.
• Learn about and train others on policies, benefits, and other HR-related information.
• Provide administrative support to HR Department.
• Work with the HR team on specialized HR initiatives.
• Coordinate and schedule meetings between employees, department heads, and partners.
• Use social media and other marketing/branding tools to build and maintain the Gessner Engineering brand
• Interact with clients via the company’s social media accounts and respond to comments and direct messages on social media platforms
• Track social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability
• Brainstorm, research, and create original marketing/branding content
• Develop and implement strategies for increasing engagement
• Ensure consistency of brand message
• Implement social media marketing best practices that aim to improve brand visibility and increase conversions
• Help develop a strong social media presence
• Content creation, including writing & distributing internal and external content including but not limited to articles, features, white papers, social media posts, & other deliverables
Required Experience & Relevant Skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Liberal Arts, HRM/HRD or any related field
o Equivalent work experience in a relevant field/industry is also acceptable
• Work experience in an office environment; previous job or internship experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Excellent communication skills
• Administrative and organizational skills
• Time Management skills
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attentional to detail is required
