32 Hour Position with a full benefit package.
Our program serves high school age students in San Francisco., Oakland, and Alameda. This position provides support to the Program Coordinators and College Counselor based in the San Francisco Office. The tasks are administrative and operational in nature. Background in office administration, computers, iPads, calculators, printers, and office equipment is required. Experience with both Apple and Microsoft based on software and hardware is desired.
General duties are related to tracking student activities and assignments; following up on upcoming and past due items; coordinating supplies; meeting materials; meeting notices; etc...for the Program Coordinators.
Additionally, this position manages the administrative aspects of the summer internship program, the freshman application process, the college tour, and all student special events and outings. A high level of organizational skills is required.
Excellent writing skills are a must for the successful candidate. The ability to initiate correspondence, memos, emails, and the ability to review and edit students' writing are essential to this position. Candidates will be requested to complete a writing assignment at the end of the interview process.
The ideal candidate is also organized, detail oriented, a good communicator, and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Minimum requirements are a college degree and at least two years of experience in an office environment.
