## Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must have earned a PhD in I-O Psychology or related field by date of appointment. ABD candidates will be considered but must have completed their Ph.D. by date of appointment. Applicants should have a strong record of research in any area of industrial-organizational psychology, potential to obtain external funding, experience in teaching relevant classes, and a willingness to teach in both the I-O Ph.D. program and our undergraduate Organizational Sciences program. Applicants should also demonstrate awareness of and sensitivity to the educational goals of a diverse educational community.

*Position Description Summary:* The Industrial and Organizational Psychology Doctoral program within the Department of Organizational Sciences and Communication invites applications for a tenure-track appointment as an Assistant Professor to begin as early as August 2019, pending final budgetary approval. *Other Information:* About the Organization GWU?s Department of Organizational Sciences and Communication is a multidisciplinary department in the College of Arts and Sciences. The department offers undergraduate and master?s degrees in Organizational Sciences and in Communication, and a doctoral degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. The Industrial-Organizational Psychology Ph.D. Program is one of the oldest and most well-respected I-O Psychology doctoral programs in the country. The Program offers a balance of Industrial and Organizational topics using the scientist-practitioner approach to graduate training, designed in accordance with guidelines established by the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP; Division 14, APA). The Program?s faculty and students are highly productive, holding major external grants, with numerous presentations and publications in top tier journals, journal editorships, and widespread external recognition of the outstanding quality of the Program?s graduates.
