Geonetric is a digital experience agency with deep technical and creative expertise. We provide health systems, hospitals and medical groups digital strategy, consulting, and creative services optimized for the healthcare industry. We have our own popular healthcare-specific content management system, VitalSite, and create compelling experiences on Sitecore, Drupal and other digital experience platforms.

We're looking for a Director of Marketing that will develop the vision, create the plan, and implement the strategies that raise brand awareness and market share of our products and services. As part of our business development unit, you'll work closely with our sales, account strategy and product teams to lead our product marketing, content marketing, digital marketing and demand generation initiatives. You'll be accountable for delivering results that achieve and exceed revenue targets.

Our Director of Marketing can work remotely, with occasional travel to conferences and our headquarters in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Essential Responsibilities

As our Director of Marketing, you'll primarily:

+ Develop and implement short- and long-term marketing plans with the goals, strategies, tactics, key performance metrics and resources needed to build the audiences and funnel for our products and services

+ Grow the Geonetric brand and elevate awareness in our market by building on our existing brand identity and owning our ongoing brand strategy and vision

+ Spearhead the execution of our digital and offline marketing campaigns, using agile methodologies to monitor and iterate on messaging, channels, creative and tactics based on market response

+ Develop a deep understanding of our business and competitive landscape; share insights with other teams and create marketing differentiation and competitive advantages

+ Collaborate with our product owners to define new and existing products, create go-to-market strategies and execute sales messaging and collateral to drive revenue growth

+ Connect and drive sales and marketing alignment among our business development unit by reviewing sales pipeline, resolving challenges, presenting possible solutions and creating marketing strategies to generate and move new leads through the sales funnel and build loyalty among our customers

+ Build and lead the marketing team, ensuring members are communicating effectively with key stakeholders and meeting team commitments

+ Collaborate with leadership and executive teams by representing our marketing strategy, presenting reports and dashboards that define marketing performance, building and overseeing the annual marketing budget, and driving business decisions that lead to long-term growth for Geonetric

+ Build and maintain relationships with industry leaders to continue to expand our position as an industry thought leader.

Education and Experience

+ Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field

+ 10 years of marketing experience, preferably B2B at enterprise software, advertising agency, or healthcare companies.

+ Expertise in marketing strategy, branding, segmentation, demand and lead generation

+ Experience in developing and executing websites and marketing campaigns required.

+ Experience with SEO, analytics and a MarTech stack
