The Talent Acquisition Leader will assist with strategic planning, mentoring and leading a dynamic team of recruiters.  This leader will be responsible for managing and growing the team.  Overseeing daily talent acquisition operations including direct management of the Talent Acquisition team to ensure end-to-end recruiting services are achieved.  Building and developing a high performance, diverse team will be critical to success in this role. Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Talent Acquisition team (providing direction, coaching, mentoring and leadership) and will be accountable for solutions to meet the talent needs for the business 
  • Lead recruiting initiatives while being hands-on in implementing talent acquisition solutions, enabling Geode Health to attract and hire the top talent
  • Work with the talent acquisition team and Geode Health leadership to ensure hiring is a highest priority across the organization
  • Drive creative pipeline building/sourcing strategies
  • Recommend and lead advanced strategies to build Geode Health’s talent brand and provide a phenomenal candidate experience
  • Propose initiatives to improve our talent acquisition program, improve processes
  • Find and implement efficiencies, propose and deliver recruiting-related training initiatives
  • Own the planning and execution of our hiring strategy to ensure Geode meets business target headcount goals
  • Align TA recruiting capacity with immediate and long-term needs
  • Create Employment Value Proposition (EVP_) and drive external employer branding strategy, partnering with marketing
  • Own reporting and analytics for your hiring areas, and leverage to drive updates, transparency, and predictability. Use data to provide insights for recommendations for hiring strategy
  • Constant process improvement. Drive best practice execution, process optimization and administrative relief that will empower more execution and focus for recruiters
  • Forecasts and manages recruitment budget
  • Create a recruitment process and make recommendations for process/policy/procedural improvements
  • Identifies and maintains solutions and contracts with outside recruiting sources and providers
  • Manage our external partnerships with colleges, professional organizations/networks, community organization

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Exceptional leader: ability to grow, mentor and challenge a team to do their best work every day
  • Excellent communication, relationship building and influencing skills
  • Advanced knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS), social media and recruiting process workflow
  • Proactive approach in exploring new sources or research for developing talent pipelines.
  • Strategic thinker, able to design creative differentiating strategies to attract highly qualified candidates
  • Must have ideas and insights to advance Geode Health talent acquisition strategies
  • Thorough understanding of job market and hiring trends, early indicators of change, and strategies to adapt quickly to a changing hiring environment
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering high quality, consumable and consistent metrics to the executive team
  • Ability to maintain focus and keep a strong eye on the details in an ambiguous and rapidly growing environment
  • Strong knowledge of State and Federal employment law (including Affirmative Action/OFCCP), policies, recruiting, performance review programs and progressive counseling; high degree of integrity and ability to exercise discretion

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
  • Master’s degree in Business, Organizational Leadership/Design or a related field is strongly preferred
  • A minimum of eight to ten years of progressive recruitment work experience with a minimum of five years leading a large healthcare recruitment team
  • Prior experience in building recruiting infrastructures for and start-up or rapidly growing organizations, including process, strategy, metrics, and systems
  • Previous experienced implementing an ATS is preferred (Workday)
