Assistant-Marketing ALF (Part Time)

POSITION SUMMARY: Work with Sales/Marketing Director and Marketing Representative to maximize community or cluster census, implement an effective, streamlined admissions process on a 24-hour, 7-days per week basis, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES: 1. Completes weekly and monthly reports on time and with accuracy; 2. Provides administrative/clerical support to facilitate timely sales; 3. Manages the collateral inventory to achieve timely and cost-effective purchase of materials; 4. Assures that an adequate supply of collateral materials and office supplies is on hand at all times; 5. Efficiently coordinates direct mail production internally and externally to ensure accurate, timely, cost-effective mailings; 6. Works with Sales/Marketing team to plan and efficiently execute marketing events to accomplish pre-established objectives; 7. Assures that newsworthy items are brought to the attention of industry and local publications; 8. Submits high quality photographs and articles on a timely basis; 9. Assures that local competitor ads are on file as well as current (6 months or less) competitor comparison analysis; 10. Assures that analysis of sales and marketing statistics is completed as needed. Assistance in completing the annual Sales/Marketing plan is provided; 11. As appropriate, participates in the selling process and make sales; 12. Participates in ongoing staff training; 13. Concerns his/herself with the safety of all community customers in order to minimize the potential for fire and accidents. Also ensures that the location adheres to the legal, safety, health, fire and sanitation codes by being familiar with his/her role in carrying out the site's fire, safety and disaster plans and by being familiar with current MSDS; 14. Puts customer service first; Ensures that customers and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individuals' needs and rights; 15. Performs all other duties as requested.
SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL/VOCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:1. High school diploma or equivalent is required. 2. Must demonstrate abilities in sales and marketing, be able to follow through with attention to detail and be sensitive to the needs of elders and disabled individuals. 3. Must be able to read, write and understand the English language.
