MASSAGE THERAPIST

Generator Athlete Lab is looking for you, an experienced Massage Therapist that is wanting work with an interdisciplinary of health, wellness & fitness professionals . You will be responsible for performing a full spectrum of massage therapy services for our active adults, whether they need a ‘flush out’ massage from a hard workout or a deep tissue to break scar tissue, designed to make each client's visit the singular best customer experience. The successful Massage Therapist will be passionate about active adults, athletes, wellness, customer service and is an exceptional team player with a positive and professional attitude.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS in SCRAPING/GUA SHA, FASCIAL STRETCHING, CUPPING and PERSONAL TRAINING A PLUS!

Essential Duties

Perform a wide range of massage and body treatments including, swedish, deep tissue, sports

Obtain client health history through the use of client intake forms, assessing problems and conditions and consulting with clients about recommended treatments

Record detailed notes for all clients including contraindications, allergies, medications, formulations and treatment preferences

Maintain correspondence with clients

Dedication to staying up to date on current licensing changes and abide by all rules and regulations associated with licensure

Position requires a great deal of mobility, including walking, and lifting up to 20 lbs

Qualifications and Experience

State of Texas Massage Therapy License

Must have schedule availability to include evenings, weekends, and some holidays

Ability to sell and educate clients on products and treatments

Generator's wellness concept involves treatments such as massage therapy, fire cupping, cold/hot tubs, fascial stretching, infrared sauna, nutrition consulting, and Normatec compression therapy. Generator's fitness studio consists of small group workouts focusing on HIIT, Core, Mobility, & Strength. Generator has a strong belief in being community oriented and offers free outdoor workouts, often with live music!!

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Salary: W2 Employee with option for benefits and PTO, 100% of your tips, and Free Memberships to our fitness & wellness studio.
