About the role:

We are looking for a SharePoint Project Manager to provide Project Management for diverse SharePoint development projects, as well as technical assistance with the configuration, development, testing, and deployment of SharePoint sites and applications. The SharePoint Project Manager's responsibility is to satisfy customer requirements by configuring SharePoint sites with in-built SharePoint capability and by developing custom SharePoint solutions (client-side).

Location: Hybrid-Remote; Gainesville, VA.

What you'll do:

  • Provide support for the design, development, testing, and implementation of a contract collaboration SharePoint portal, and interfaces for diverse users, and other multiple business units.
  • Accountable for the planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting success of SharePoint collaboration site projects. 
  • Collaborate with teams to produce project plans, schedules, and milestones and successfully executing numerous concurrent projects, communicating correctly with all stakeholders, delivering all required project reporting, tracking issues and resolving them, and escalating as necessary.
  • Supervise projects to make sure work scope, schedule, and budget are well defined and maintained.
  • Mentor and motivate project team members and vendors and influence them to take positive strides in their assigned work.
  • Successfully communicate project expectations and progress to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear manner; organize meetings and plan agendas to make sure key issues are revealed and resolved.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and 8 years of related experience. An additional 10 years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 10 years of project and/or program experience is required as well as experience leading teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance.
  • Knowledge of Agile principles and practices is required.

What's desired to have:

  • Previous experience supporting a federal or government customer preferred or   Department of Treasury desired.
  • PMP or other related certifications.
  • Experience with Agile methodology and Scrum approach.
  • Experience with legal documents, working with legal advisors and/or attorneys, or similar experience.
