Title of Position: Shift Manager
Job Description: Our Shift Manager must work well in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be able to ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times, including wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating and verifying temperature of products. The Shift Manager must help clean and stock work areas and customer areas, transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or cart, when required. It is important to be able to move and lift food and beverage items and supplies weighing over 40 lbs. The Shift Manager will assist with a variety of kitchen-related functions as needed. It is of the utmost importance to regularly clean and sanitize work station and equipment. Normal job function of the Shift Manager requires bending, twisting, and standing for prolonged periods of time. It is necessary to speak, read and comprehend instructions, sort correspondence and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers in English. Even more importantly, the Shift Manager must have the personality and skill set to teach, and treat team members with respect and kindness while leading through example and confidence.
