We are currently seeking Full Time Substance Abuse Counselors of all levels to work in our Drug & Alochol program!!!!
This individual is responsible for maintaining a client caseload and all associated clinical documentation as required by funding and monitoring sources. This person should be highly skilled in clinical interventions. This individual is also intended to assist in the maintenance of a stable clinical team and should assist with the supervision and team building under the direction of the Clinical Supervisor. This person should also be a self-starter, have experience in running groups and engaging clients into treatment.
The Counselor position requires a professional who is capable of demonstrating an advanced understanding of the full continuum of care, how a therapeutic community operates and how each client moves along the continuum of care. Providing assessment and evaluations based on appropriate criteria. Candidate must have experience in treating clients with Substance Abuse Disorders.
- Associates degree or CAC with minimum two (2) years’ experience
- Bachelor’s degree with minimum one (1) year experience
- Master’s degree with Approved practicum
- Knowledge of D&A
- Sobriety: If recovering, two (2) years sobriety
- Updated Clearances are a PLUS!!!
