NEW FACILITY OPENING! WE ARE HIRING FOR SEVERAL DIFFERENT POSITIONS AT ONE OF OUR NEWER PROGRAMS LOCATED IN HARRISBURG, PA! WE ARE SEEKING SUBSTANCE ABUSE COUNSELORS, SOCIAL WORKERS & CASE MANAGERS.
SUBSTANCE ABUSE COUNSELOR REQUIREMENTS: This individual will be responsible for development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for clients on case load, addressing needs reflected on Biopsychosocial Assessment, and to include group and individual therapy, staff on duty responsibilities during specified shifts, to include implementation and monitoring of applied therapeutic community principles and modality in a trauma-informed treatment environment, EHR maintenance reflecting these functions in accordance with regulatory requirements. Position requires an Associates degree plus 2 years’ experience, CAC plus 2 years’ experience, bachelor’s degree plus 1 years’ experience, OR Master’s degree with approved practicum. Note: Must be in Human Services field. Must complete training requirements pursuant to hire.
SOCIAL WORKER REQUIREMENTS: This individual will be responsible for completing client biopsychosocial assessments, develop and implement with a case load of clients individual treatment plans commensurate with biopsychosocial assessments, engage in group and individual therapy and provide educational seminars with a case load and other clients consistent with drug and alcohol/dually diagnosed therapeutic community modality, maintain EHR and interact with funding referral sources to insure smooth continuity of care, support clinical, house management, and administrative staff, demonstrate application of TC principles in a trauma-informed treatment environment. Position requires a Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) and 3 years of D&A counseling and/or social work experience.
CASE MANAGER REQUIREMENTS: This individual will be delegated as the Intake Specialist, as well as, perform general case management for halfway house level of care which includes, but not limited to: coordinating welfare contacts; scheduling medical appointments; determining client needs and setting up services such as employment, housing, and volunteering. The Case Manager is also responsible for follow ups; coordinating completion parties; coordinating graduation; and presenting seminars on a variety of topics relevant to reconnecting to the community. This individual also interacts with funding sources and is familiar with ASAM and utilization Review. Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a generally recognized clinical discipline, plus specialized training for specialized population; and/or full certification as an Addictions Counselor; or Master’s degree in related specialty area. Minimum of 3 years of D&A Counseling or Case Management experience.
