This individual will provide drug and alcohol services to adult clients in an outpatient setting, for both intensive outpatient and regular outpatient clients, facilitate intensive outpatient groups as well as gender specific outpatient groups, completing evaluations and assessments/making recommendations for level of care needed, complete treatment plans along with case consultations with your team and other agency staff, complete discharge planning and aftercare referrals for all clients, monitor clients for graduation eligibility and pursue completion of that process, carrying out tasks in the therapeutic care, treatment and rehabilitation of persons with chemical dependency and/or mental health problems; providing and facilitating individual and group counseling, providing assessment and evaluations based on appropriate criteria and the capability to perform these duties Tuesday through Saturday, two days 1pm-9pm and three days 9am-5pm.
Work is performed in accordance with established regulations, policies and procedures, but employees are expected to exercise significant initiative and independent judgment in discharging duties. Work is reviewed by the Program Director and/or Clinical Supervisor through an evaluation of the completion of assignments through independent and group supervision.
· Master’s degree with two (2) years’ experience.
· Bachelor’s degree with three (3) years’ experience.
· Associates degree or CAC with (5) years’ experience.
· Sobriety: If recovering, two (2) years sobriety.
· A Valid Driver’s License.
· All experience must have been performed in the Human Services field.
