This individual will work in a residential treatment Halfway House setting and will be responsible for assisting with the initial nursing assessment on all new admissions, utilizing the required assessment form, arranging for the appointment with the medical doctor/CRNP to complete the initial physical exam and other health screenings as required by regulation. This nurse will assist in the administration of medication and record this activity in the appropriate medical chart, and will arrange and coordinate all medical, dental, and vision exam appointments. Duties also included ensuring that there are adequate medical supplies, as well as, documenting and securing necessary medical records on all clients.
Education: Graduation of an accredited school of Practical Nursing,
Current licensure in good standing in the Commonwealth of PA
Experience: Minimum of 1 year supervised experience in acute care of addiction treatment, detox, mental health, or community health care setting.
Sobriety: If recovering, you must have two (2) years continuous sobriety and continuous throughout employment.
