GAUDENZIA IS LOOKING FOR A COOK AND A HOUSE MANAGER FOR OUR ELLENDALE PROGRAM!!!!
This individual will be capable of preparing well-balanced, nutritional meals for the facility. This candidate will be responsible for maintaining reasonable food costs through the proper use, preparation and storage of food; ensuring a sanitary kitchen at all times; and following policies and procedures.
Work is performed in accordance with established regulations, policies and procedures, but employees are expected to exercise initiative and independent judgment in discharging duties. Work is reviewed by the Clinical Supervisor or the Program Director through an evaluation of the completion of assignments and through independent and group supervision.
- High School Diploma/GED
- Serv Safe Certification with two (2) years in food preparation
- Valid Driver’s License
This individual must be capable under direct supervision, and have the ability to work in the therapeutic care, treatment and rehabilitation facility. This individual will be responsible for transporting and escorting clients that have medical appointments, and/or other business needs outside of the facility (as approved by staff) and will perform this function in a coordinated and timely manner and communicate any/all concerns to staff accordingly.
Duties may include, but are not limited to: having an awareness of clients whereabouts and activities during shift, communicate to counseling staff all client related incidents (in person and/or by log), deny access to the facility of unauthorized persons to ensure a drug free environment while maintaining client confidentiality, be willing to listen to clients in a non-judgmental manner, assist in the facilitation of morning meetings, exercise, and other program functions, attend program activities and act as a role model for the clients by demonstrating a positive attitude and behavior and drug free lifestyle. This position does not require, and is restricted from performing group counseling, individual counseling, treatment planning, case management, etc., but does act as a liaison between the clinical staff and the clients.
High School Diploma or GED plus knowledge of D&A abuse and treatment
