Enterprises, schools, and institutions are investing in their IT networks to increase performance and improve cybersecurity protections. There are new projects opened daily with network engineers seeking network TAPs and network packet brokers to gain better visibility in the networks they manage. Finding these projects can be lucrative for a sales professional but they?re not easy to find.

A successful Garland Technology Regional Sales Manager will need to be strategic and persistent hunter but still patient and always resilient. On an average day in the office, you can expect to be researching, prospecting, making phone calls, sending emails and scheduling meetings with industry partners to locate projects. You will fill the role of team quarterback and work to cultivate internal relationships with your territory teammates, like the Inside Sales Reps, Sales Support Specialists, Systems Engineers and Channel Partner Leads to achieve your sales goals every quarter!

  • Leads team and drives sales and all activity in assigned territory

  • Sells new and existing products, discovers new opportunities, and secures incremental business

  • Consistently performs effective sales calls throughout the assigned territory and closes new business opportunities

  • Develop and grow relationships at the appropriate management level with distributors, resellers, and end-users to leverage lead generation on major accounts

  • Accountable for business performance and hitting all revenue and other performance targets

  • Work effectively within a team environment to maximize revenue potential and ensure customer success

  • Collaboration with Territory Sales Managers; act as a mentor, coach and lead-by-example

  • Explores, identifies, and communicates potential opportunities with the Territory Sales Managers

  • Builds on a strong history of networked contacts, expanding the brand recognition of Garland Technology

  • Develop and/or modify sales forecasting, goals, performance standards & measurement criteria for sales

  • Support the development, implementation and management of account plans that achieve maximum possible revenue generation from new and existing customers through sales of product and services

  • Accountable for all channel partners and end-user sales revenue

  • Establish a list of targeted channel partners and end-users

  • Foster Technology Partner relationships with sales engineers and salespeople

  • Other duties may apply based on the needs of the business

By Day 91, you will be expected to demonstrate proficiency in your job duties:

  • Prospecting

  • Managing a project

  • Building relations with channel and tech partners

  • Closing deals

  • Business Reviews



Base Salary $90,000 - $110,000  +  Quarterly Commission Plan Earnings
