Starting Pay Rate:
$17.00 hr.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Responsibilities specific to this client site include, but are not limited to:

• Provide excellent customer service to our clients
• Observe, survey, and report activities at the assigned site
• Respond quickly to critical situations
• Ability to read and write detailed reports
• Enforce client procedures, regulations, and standards
• Participate in risk management activities.
• Respond to all safety hotline calls promptly and efficiently such as fires or medical emergencies.
• Conducted regular patrols for suspicious activity or persons.
• Securing doors within client facility.
• Access control responsibilities.
• Monitored travelers and staff for unusual or suspicious behavior.
• Coordinate with client staff in upholding security operations.
• Coordinating with other security personnel and law enforcement officers during investigations of security breaches or other crimes.
• Monitoring surveillance cameras to identify potential threats or criminal activity.
• Conducting physical screenings of passengers using metal detectors and handheld scanners.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications specific to this client site include, but are not limited to:

• At least 18 years of age for non-driving posts or at least 21 years of age or older for driving posts as required by applicable law or contractual requirements.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a MVR check (required for driving positions only).
• Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
• Possess at least a high school education or equivalent (GED).
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Prior security experience welcomed but not required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Strong skills in detecting potential emergency situations.
• Excellent ability to work in poor weather conditions.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a KCMO private security license and SIDA license (GARDAWORLD will help to obtain any required licenses during our company hiring process).
