Description
The Director of Ecommerce for Strategic Alliances will report into the Sr. Director of Bus Dev & Ecommerce. This individual is responsible for the end to end process of identifying and managing all ecommerce partner relationships. This includes the development of new markets through appropriate geographic prioritization, building business partner relationships, and negotiating relevant agreement. The ideal candidate has a passion for learning, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is skilled at balancing multiple priorities as well as driving multiple key stakeholders to action towards a common goal.
  • Lead the e-commerce strategy in line with strategic objectives and develop strong annual business plans to deliver against the budgeted growth targets
  • Prioritize all e-commerce opportunities creating a roadmap for the development of the brands in third party websites as well as existing partners. Execute all negotiations for all the contract negotiations
  • Manage all partnerships relationships driving wholesale revenue to make sure Gap Inc. brands are among the top performers in the multibrand sites
  • Identify risk/opportunities to sales plans and collaborate with cross functional teams to develop action plans to achieve financial goals
  • Develop, execute, analyze and provide feedback on commercial plans, which include flow strategies and promotional/markdown events
  • Lead the review account’s sales performance, online analytics, customer data and other KPIS to formulate actionable insights that actively drive Online trade
  • Ensure new sites whether .com or shops in shops in multiband sites adhere to brand standards
  • Share results and best practice leanings with the wider cross functional organization
  • Accountable for delivering against key business Online KPI’s and make recommendations for improvement



Qualifications
  • Seasoned international business experience including business development and ecommerce experience in retail or related industry
  • Experienced negotiation skills working with senior leaders to analyze, problem solve and recommend successful solutions that are strong financially and mutually beneficial
  • Excellent verbal, presentation, and written skills; ability to communicate complex information in an executive format and use data to tell a compelling story
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; can see a problem from multiple angles and provide viable, innovative options for resolution
  • International travel required
  • 4-year Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 5-10 years’ experience, with breadth across general management, business development strategy and/ or ecommerce positions
