What You Will Do
Gannett Fleming's construction management professionals provide services on projects ranging from highway, bridge, and transit; to buildings and municipal infrastructure, including drinking water and sanitary systems. Recently, Engineering News Record (ENR) named Gannett Fleming in the top 50 firms for providing Construction Management.
Our Construction Management Practice in the New York and New Jersey area is currently seeking top-notch Construction Management professionals; Resident Engineers, Construction Managers, Construction Superintendents, Office Engineers, and Construction Inspectors with Public Agency experience including but not limited to NJDOT, NJTPA, NJNYPA, NJTransit, NYCDDC, NYCDOT, NYSDOT, NYCHA, and NYCSCA.
- Prior experience working with Transportation, Transit, Educational, or other Infrastructure Projects required
- NICET, ACI, are highly desirable.
Ability to hear normal conversation
Ability to Lift/Carry - less than 20 pounds
English language ability
File, collate and tasks requiring manual dexterity
Read PC Screen
Work outdoors in varying weather conditions (i.e. rain, snow, etc)
Drug test may be required
Ability to Stoop, Kneel, Crawl
Ascend/descend ladders, scaffolding, etc.
Maintain equilibrium on uneven/moving surfaces
- Some positions require an Associates or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or other related field
- Higher level positions could require EIT or PE
