Information Technology Internship (Data Analytics & Automation)

We are actively looking for student summer interns to assist our Construction, Plants and Equipment, Information Technology, and Testing Lab teams with various projects related to Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) Production, Field and Plant Management, Paving, Project Management, Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Tracking, and Automation of Reporting. During this internship experience, you will be involved in the daily operations of our organization and gain valuable experience in the paving and construction industries. Interns are also invited to participate in our companies Leadership Training program during their internship, which offers immense opportunities to grow both personally and professionally as a values-based leader.

This internship position is a 12 week (May - August), in-person, full-time, paid position based out of our Thornton, Illinois headquarters.

Information Technology Internship (Data Analytics & Automation)

Gallagher Asphalt seeks a Data Analytics or Computer Science summer intern to assist our organization in innovating and streamlining our processes for tracking KPIs within each sector of the organization. You will work directly with our IT manager and leaders from our construction, pre-construction, project management, sales, plants and equipment, and lab to effectively plan, design, and implement solutions for data automation across our company.
