HR Assistant Consultant

Job Description:
  • The HR Assistant Consultant will support the Talent Acquisition Team in creating a best-in-class hiring experience scheduling interviews, pre-employment drug screens, background checks, and monitoring the results. Heavily involved in onboarding candidates via a variety of emails with candidates and managers.
  • Supports 3-4 recruiters in the hiring process.
  • Troubleshoots candidate and new hire questions regarding interviews and onboarding.
  • Conducts data entry into the HR system, Workday.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate a variety of interviews (phone, video, in-person)
  • HR Assistant Consultant supports the operational aspects of the recruiting cycle including resume management, logistics, reporting, tracking, analytics, etc.
  • Coordinate and present new hire onboarding.
  • Makes recommendations for improved/streamlined procedures, seeking to improve efficiency
  • Contributes to the maintenance of employee records and files, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements s well as satisfying related inquiries from employees and HR customers
  • Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for resolving new and different requests, and exploring opportunities to add value
  • Ensures adherence to all statutory federal, state, and local regulations during the employment process.
  • Work on a variety of special projects in Staffing and HR.

Job Qualifications:
  • Expected completion of a Bachelor's Degree required and previous HR internship experience preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail is a MUST. Follow up and love to interact with people on a daily basis while juggling multiple tasks is required.
  • This is a fast-paced environment and must be able to change priorities quickly yet remain accurate.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and execute work autonomously. Must collaborate with the team.
  • Driven and engaged.
  • Strong analytical mindset.
  • Strong project management and execution skills.
  • Experience with Workday is a plus!
