The Customer Service Representative will be part of the Customer Support & Sales Operation for the Raymarine team in Nashua NH. They will be part of a centralized function to locally manage and execute all Raymarine US sales operations. This is a key customer facing position in the organization and requires efficient co-ordination between OEM customers, Distributors, the Sales Teams, Supply Chain, and the 3rd party logistics provider. The role is critical in supporting the Booking and Billings of Raymarine US. The CSR responds to customer inquiries by telephone or e-mail to provide non-technical problem resolution. Resolves routine and basic problems and communicates solutions or requested information to the customer.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Review daily quotes/orders to customers re-pricing and product availability ensuring correct information has been communicated via the Sales Backlog report.
Efficiently, courteously, and professionally responds to in-bound queries from such sources as email and the telephone providing the customer with the appropriate service regarding pre-sale or post-sale matters.
Assesses customer needs and suggests correct solution for those needs by providing appropriate product information to the customer.
Processes customer orders to include payment information and enters data into SAP ensuring order is shipped correctly.
Solves customers' post-sales issues by communicating corrective solutions to the customer as appropriate including the creation of cases for customer returns, etc.
Daily problem-solving, i.e., correcting errors in the EDI files.
Manage special promotions ensuring that the agreed Sales offers are correct at the time of order entry.
Reducing of customer backlogs.
Ensure all orders are clear of any hold codes (e.g., Credit block) shipped on time and as expected.
Arrange drop shipments for customers from optimum locations.
Review customer orders with the view to offer other solutions when product shortages exist.
Confident & highly organized.
Previous sales operations and sales processing experience.
Experience in ERP system, preferably SAP.
Strong work ethic, analytical, creative, independent yet also a team player.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are a necessity.
Able to communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
