Business Development Manager – Brookfield, WI or Remote, Full Time
GSF Mortgage Corporation/GO Mortgage is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to serve as the ultimate promoter of the GSF/GO Mortgage brand. Focusing on targeting the professionals who have "the right stuff" to sell our products, the BDM acts as chief sales talent recruiter and hiring manager. In addition to staffing, the seasoned BDM will know how to connect our branch sales offices with outside mortgage industry partners to create lasting, beneficial relationships. The successful candidate understands people and what motivates them, and has the ability to apply marketing concepts to live scenarios in a creative fashion.
Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years recruiting/hiring experience, PLUS 2 or more years experience in mortgage loan origination. Bachelors degree a plus. Must have ability to travel.
The Business Development Manager is responsible for recruiting, interviewing, and hiring qualified sales position candidates for the company, utilizing multiple recruiting and hiring modalities. The candidate will frequently deliver presentations to mortgage industry partners in order to establish a relationship and earn business referrals for our branch offices. Will assist branch offices in establishing (and maintaining) their own stream of business partners. Works with marketing and human resources department staff to create items for presentations and other materials related to recruiting staff and business partners, with an expert understanding of GO Mortgage products and services. The incumbent will travel frequently for this position, and must have engaging verbal communication abilities and the ability to create written materials in a professional style.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Oversees recruiting to help effectively attract top sales talent by promoting Company benefits, opportunities, and professional development under the guidance of human resources and marketing departments.
Promotes and supports GO Mortgage branding through the use of various media.
Utilizes marketing strategies to develop client base and open new business channels.
Utilizes telephone, email, conference calls, webinars, and in-person meetings and presentations.
Effectively coaches branch managers and mortgage loan originators on techniques to engage business partners, and ultimately earn referrals.
Works with training manager to create materials to enforce coaching techniques.
Utilizes Company's Client Relationship Management (CRM) system to effectively keep relationships with business partners current and follow-up on new sources.
Stays informed on trends and developments.
Meets or exceeds a hiring minimum of 2 sales positions per quarter; hires must maintain employment a minimum of 3 months to be considered a successful "hire".
Provides a weekly Contact Summary Report to manager.

Education and/or Experience: Must have a minimum of 3 years recruiting/hiring experience, PLUS 2 or more years experience in mortgage loan origination. Bachelors degree a plus.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Contact Management systems (HubSpot and TotalExpert); Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Excel spreadsheet software and Microsoft Word word processing software. Knowledge of Encompass and Optimal Blue helpful.
Language and Mathematical Skills: Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, vendors, and the general public. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.
