Finance Manager Retention Bonus: Gexpro Services is offering a retention bonus up to $1,000 paid in two increments following 90 and 180 days of employment for all external applicants.

Summary of Responsibilities:

The Finance Manager reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and supports a critical business unit within Gexpro Services. The Finance Manager will be responsible for the following activities:

  • Monthly analysis of operational results and financial position of the operations
  • Monthly preparation of summary results and management report
  • Liaison with the Headquarters team in regard to issues, problems, concerns and questions 
  • Prepare forecasts, budgets and mid-term plans
  • Monitor and analyze variances and trends
  • Identify cost control opportunities; recommend strategies for productivity & cost controls
  • Analyze monthly key economic indicators that effect our overall business
  • Analyze and report monthly on key information between actual, budget or forecasted results
  • Analyze sales mix, product mix and gross profit margins
  • Understand accounting principles applied and their effect on the overall results
  • Develop and supervise team members to motivate positive career growth and strong performance results 
  • Manage, support, research and report with regard to special financial projects as assigned
  • Assist with due diligence activities related to new acquisitions and related integration of target into the corporate structure
  • Able to work overtime as needed
  • Other duties may be assigned  

 Skills, Knowledge, and Education

  • This position requires a college degree in finance, accounting or a related field with a minimum of seven years of experience in finance or related functions, balanced between cost, general accounting, budgeting and information systems responsibilities.
  • Strong attention to detail, superior analytical capability and excellent verbal and written communications.  
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills with an ability to work autonomously
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • High standards of accuracy and precision
  • Ability to deliver results in a timely manner
  • Manufacturing cost accounting experience.
  • Must possess strong prioritization skills.  
  • Must be flexible and able to multitask on a daily basis
