Job Description and Duties
Software engineering in support of TacMobile, to include the design, development, and documentation of software to support a specific government requirement. Lead software development efforts by defining a software development approach appropriate for the computer software effort to be performed. Document the approach in a Software Development Plan (SDP). Follow this SDP for all computer software to be developed or maintained under this effort. Develop one SDP for the task order and ensure the SDP meets the criteria specified in the CDRL A001 using IEEE Std 12207-2017. Develop software for any correction of deficiencies, fixes, or changes to existing code within the sustainment of the current baseline that have been approved through the CM process.
Knowledge and Tools
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Physical Science
Active Clearance Minuimum SECRET
Three (3) to Ten (10) years of experience in software development.
Experience with in either Windows and/or RedHat. Note: Experience may be concurrent
Understanding of software CM including ECPs and other documentation required to make a baseline change.
Perform unit tests on developed software and participate in peer reviews.
Good written and verbal communication skills
Well rounded experienced individual with strong business acumen.
Experience with C++/JAVA Software Development.
Experience with SQL Server.
Coordinating required code changes based on analysis and ICD/IDD reviews, identifying the changes within ICD/IDD.
Programming experience with an understanding of software development requirements.
Certifications and Licences
Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP) (Previously known as Certified Software Engineering Professional (CSEP)), or with COR approval complete a vendor/platform specific certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD)
Microsoft Certified Applications Developer (MCAD)
Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA)
Sun Certified Professional (SCP)
Red Hat Certification Program (RHCP)
CISCO Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), other).
