Job Requirements

As an event sales coordinator, you’ll be expected to think on your feet and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment. You’ll need to be flexible and easily able to adapt to new and changing situations and work alongside the sales team or on your own. The sale is a large part of the role, so you will need to have a friendly and approachable personality and plenty of self-confidence. The best sales consultants are observant and intuitive and have great communication, listening and interpersonal skills – all of which are required for the role. Great organizational skills are also essential.

Educational Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required as a minimum

  • A college degree is not essential, however, COMPANY NAME welcomes candidates with degrees in the following subjects:

    • Business

    • Marketing

    • Communications

    • Psychology

    • Sociology

Job Responsibilities

As an event coordinator, your main responsibility is to organize direct marketing events on behalf of clients. You’ll work closely with the sales team, and liaise with clients in order to meet their requirements. It will be your responsibility to secure venues for marketing events and ensure that all the planning and preparation go smoothly.
