Job Description

We are immediately seeking sales assistants (aka Job Captains) to join our growing team in the Inland Empire, San Diego and Orange County.

This position’s primary focus is to provide exceptional sales support and leadership to our business development and sales management team while serving as the primary point of contact between G|M and the client. The Job Captain is responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships while providing accurate and timely product quotations, order management and planning, G|M technology insights and implementation, internal coordination and basic office functions. The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, be extremely self-motivated and driven to provide outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment. This position requires a detail-oriented person that is dedicated to accuracy and works well under pressure and continuous deadlines.

Skills & Responsibilities

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 3 years of professional office experience, preferably in a customer service or executive assistant position

Interest in a lifelong professional career in a company that encourages internal growth and individual success

Must be able to communicate often, effectively and with a respectful professional urgency

Must have a servant’s attitude, performing all tasks with client needs and satisfaction as primary objective

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and consistently meet or exceed expectations

Must have excellent follow-up, research, and resourcefulness abilities

Must be technologically inclined and proficient in all standard office software as well as adaptable to learning new technology

An interior design, sales or project management background is a plus

Must have the ability to learn quickly, work independently, and contribute in a team environment

Strong organizational and time management skills are required

Must be detail oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks

Ability to conduct daily business according to company policy and is not easily persuaded to bend the rules

Education & Experience

Must possess a high school diploma

A Bachelor’s degree in interior design, business, communications or marketing highly desired

3+ years working in a business environment with a customer service focus

A valid CA driver’s license is required
