Senior Financial Analyst

GHJ Search & Staffing has partnered with a well-known global entertainment organization looking to add a Senior Financial Analyst to their Finance team. This is a newly created role that will support international operations and digital streaming. This individual will play a critical role and perform a variety of financial activities including planning, analysis, budgeting, and reporting. In addition, you will have strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills and be able to present financial information and models.

What will you do?

• Works on all planning and reporting financial cycles for digital and international operations, meeting deliverables as outlined
• Works closely with Production Finance and the ad sales team to ensure clear communication and coordination for aligned new business planning assumptions.
• Models new business opportunities, including dynamic inputs for new business opportunities. Ability to create as many iterations as necessary for evaluation purposes.
• Monitors operating performance and prepares variance explanation
• Prepares monthly departmental actual to budget analysis and reviews results with colleagues
• Review new contracts for all financial impacts and administration
• Prepares revenue share calculations and coordinates invoicing and billing
• Works with Joint Venture partners to establish working business relationships and business processes
• Provides additional ad-hoc financial analysis for CFO and Controller as needed

What you need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
• MBA preferred
• 3- 7 years of progressive experience in financial planning, strategic planning, and/or corporate finance is preferred
• Experience in International business is highly desired
