Environmental Scientist

Geo-Enviro Consulting and Remediation LLC (GECR) is seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager to coordinate the investigation and remediation of NJDEP regulated sites under the guidance of the project LSRP. The position is full-time and based in Piscataway, NJ. Since its origin in 2012, GECR has provided comprehensive, honest, and efficient environmental solutions across New Jersey.

Responsibilities will include:

• Managing the completion of well installation, well abandonment, site investigation, and other fieldwork.

• UST Closure Oversight

• Client and regulatory correspondence

• Technical report writing and review

• Preparing cost estimates and proposals

• Coordinating work schedules with GECR staff and subcontractors

Requirements of Position:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or closely related field

• 3-5 years of experience in environmental consulting

• Experience working for clients in the oil and gas market sector

• Experience working with NJDEP environmental regulations

• 40-Hour HAZWOPER Training
