Job Description

As the Vice President of Sales, you will help bring the company to the next level and develop strategies to support continued aggressive growth. You will effectively lead your sales team. Direct national accounts, corporate, and distributors. Attend trade shows to meet with clients to develop strategic growth. Develop promotional strategies for key retailers, distributors and corporate accounts. You will be responsible in working with the marketing team to create promotional and marketing campaigns to support retailers. Part of the major focus will be to work and nurture all key accounts such as Vitamin Shoppe, Bodybuilding.com, and GNC. You will work closely and report to the COO/CFO.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Develop, plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company’s sales goal

· Manage the Sales Teams, operations and resources to increase market penetration and deliver profitable growth

· Required to establish sales quotes, and track performance metrics to optimize effectiveness and motivation

· Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting

· Plan, Develop, and Implement sales promotional programs, including scans, discounts, and other promotional programs

· Hire, develop and train sales staff

· Lead weekly sales meeting updates

· Work with Marketing department to build brand awareness

· Define and coordinate sales training programs that enable staff to achieve their potential and support company sales objectives

· Build relationships with key customers, athletes, distributors

· Travel domestically and at times Internationally to represent GAT Sport in trade shows and develop key relationships

· Provide input to senior leadership in the development and administration of sales incentive compensation programs

· Work closely with the CFO and Executive Management

· Work and collaborate with International Sales to building global brand presence

REQUIREMENTS:

· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or related field required

· A minimum of 8 years of experience with at least 5 years in a leadership/management position directing sales

· Sales and Marketing experience in Nutritional Supplement industry preferred

· Sharp, flexible, a leader with a demonstrated record of creative problem solving

· Demonstrated success designing and improving a Sales organization’s practices, processes, procedures and organizational structure

· Strong planning, organization, and communication skills

· Able to travel worldwide
