Deputy Program Manager & Business Development Lead for Government Contracts

GAMA-1 Technologies is actively seeking a remote Deputy Program Manager & Business Development Lead for Government Contracts. This dynamic and crucial role will not only manage Federal Government Performance Based/Fixed Price/Time and Materials IDIQ contracts and task orders for information technology support services, but will also be deeply involved in business development in the government contracting space.

The individual in this hybrid role will serve as a trusted partner for Government Senior leaders, guiding the execution of IT Support Service Delivery contracts while simultaneously identifying and exploring new business opportunities within NOAA, NASA, NIH, and the DOD. The ideal candidate will have solid technical knowledge of Cloud, enterprise architecture, IT networks and infrastructure, Cyber Security, data science and/or communications, and experience developing comprehensive, technically-focused proposals.

Responsibilities:

• Customer Relationship Management, including maintaining and expanding existing relationships, and forging new ones in the government sector.
• Overseeing all aspects of program management, including program plan development, resource allocation, budgeting, status reporting, and delivery against the Government/Contractor Performance Work Statement (PWS).
• Supporting internal and customer management & technical reviews, contributing technical expertise to the development of proposal responses and review of proposal content.
• Managing timelines, staff, and other resources to ensure delivery meets all documented points within the PWS.
• Identifying and solving project issues efficiently and effectively.
• Managing complex IT projects/programs from design and development to production.
• Leading contract technical and administrative personnel efforts. This includes service centers, desktop management, asset management and asset maintenance, infrastructure services, data and network, information security, collaboration, and enterprise IT shared service solutions.

Qualifications:

• BS or higher in an Engineering, Technology, or related field.
• 3-5 years’ experience leading/managing large complex enterprise systems and IT Services Federal IDIQ. NOAA, NASA, NIH, and DOD experience a plus.
• 5 years of experience with Program Management of large complex enterprise IT systems/solutions and IT Services Federal Customer Support, including scheduling and budgeting.
• 5 years of experience successfully interfacing between Government user communities, Government Governance organizations, and acquisition activities.
• Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of government standards and a solid understanding of documentation requirements, drawings, and source selection procedures.
• Proven ability to prepare and present complex technical and management presentations to customers. Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and issue resolution skills are a must.
• PMI Certification: PMP – Project Management Professional or equivalent.
• ITIL Foundation – Information Technology Infrastructure Library Foundation.
• Must be able to pass a US Government Background Investigation.
• Excellent written, verbal, and analytical skills.
