3rd Shift Supervisor

Summary: Assists supervision in the assignment of work, training, of employees and completion of required paperwork.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Handles and monitors production goals for various departments
Offers guidance and training for employees to increase knowledge and productivity
Monitors employees to ensure they are performing to production satisfaction
Works with management to understand and set production standards
Enforces rules and regulations of the organization
Supervisor Responsibilities:
Directly supervises employees in various departments. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple: correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.


Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.


Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.


Other Skills and Abilities:
Must speak and read fluent English
